Special membership schemes and special professional registration schemes are operated by the IET for each of the Services. We aim to support personnel whilst in the Services and provide active help with their transition to civilian life.

Professional registration
Becoming professionally registered as a Chartered Engineer (CEng), Incorporated Engineer (IEng), Engineering Technician (EngTech) or ICT Technician (ICTTech) is highly valued by employers and allows your military skills and experience to receive international recognition.
